As a community, we have been blessed with tremendous support from many businesses and individuals for the Annual Southeast Dallas Community Golf Classic, presented by Dal-Tile in October 2019.  This past October marked our 30th year.  The annual event provides the funding for the SEDCC scholarships.

In 2020, the SEDCC will award SIX $1,000 scholarships to a graduating senior from three DISD high schools W. W. Samuell, Skyline, and H. Grady Spruce, and a TRIO Program participating student from one of the three high schools, and a graduating senior from A+ Academy and Inspired Vision Academy. Along with a personal essay and financial need, a student's academic achievement, academic transcript, extra-curricular activities, and any other special circumstances will help determine the final recipients of the 16 scholarships.  Please remember these criteria as you distribute the applications to your students.  We place a great deal of emphasis on the student's essay
